Without you in my life
There would be no stars in the sky,
No moon to lighten the night,
No sun to brighten my day.

Tears in my eyes blind my vision.
I look for you everywhere I go,
In everyone I see.

I pray each day to help me
Get back to where I used to be.
Without you in my life,
Being your wife.

I'm not ready to put you in my past.
I just want what we had to last.

Maybe some day I can start over
Without you in my life.
When the memories have faded
Into history of you and me and
I can awake to a bright sunny day,
Knowing everything will be ok.
