Walk A While

Jesus, please walk with me a while,
For I am frightened.
From what I do not know,
Or maybe from whom.
I feel so alone and so unsure.
You seem to me a million mile away.
A distance I'm sure I created.

But now as we walk,
And now as we talk, my fears subside.
You open my eyes and you clear my mind.
You hold me in your loving arms and you cry.
You tell me that you're always walking with me,
But I usually choose to pay you no mind.

I thank you my Jesus, for even in my doubts,
You have given me a faith that is so deep inside me,
Nothing I fear and no persons can ever take it from me.
Thank you Jesus, for walking with me a while!
