Have you seen the sun shine today
As the air briskly blows through your hair?
Did you wake with joy in your heart,
So light and without a care?

The love in my heart for you grows more
Each day as together we walk
I still listen after so many years
With an open mind when you talk.
I see the glow within your eyes
That started my heart on fire.
Upon my heart you touch me,
The harp, a melody on wire.

Together we walk, we talk, we sing and we dance.
With you, forever my love will take a stance.
My life is nothing when I’m without you.
I can’t imagine just what I’d do.

So together we are one,
Together we have lots of fun.
My love for you grows warm
Deep with in my heart.
I hope that we will never ever separate
or grow apart.

As we walk hand in hand
Through the troubles and the pain,
I have you and you have me
And we can smile in spite of the rain.
Our love goes beyond that of what the world
Thinks that love really is.
People look at our love and don’t understand,
Puzzled as with in a quiz.

Did you feel the stars peering down upon you
As you slept beside me?
Were you peacefully secure cuddled beside me
While we drifted out to sea?
There is no other place I would rather be than beside you.
