To Rachel, with Love

Rachel's in heaven now at age ninety-four
She'd garden and sew and so much more
She taught her loved ones to share and be kind
...and to always try to arrive on time.

Sometimes a tomboy, but always a lady
She would read her bible then sleep like a baby
Though sometimes stubborn and oh, what a pistol
She gave out such love...by the fistful

Forever remembered by family and friends
And loved for her stories from beginning to end
Her feisty way yet gentle spirit
Her voice just like music the moment you'd hear it

She built a house all on her own
You'd never hear Rachel complain or moan
She set fine examples for all those around her
Your arms would reach out and try to surround her

Now she is in heaven with the Father who made her
No matter her tantrums, He always forgave her
Because she was special in so many ways
..now has life eternal for the rest of her days

You're young now in heaven, you can dance and sing
Or build in the mansion, or do anything!
We'll miss you although, we know you're above
God bless you sweet angel...to Rachel, with love.
