Have you ever noticed there are certain things
that you adore about your new love.
right down to the terrible way he sings,
it's like for you he was sent from above.

Further down the road as the years go by,
it's these things that make you groan and sigh.
The things that you loved about him right away,
make you think you can't take another day.
You start to get annoyed by a lot of things,
right down to the terrible way he sings.

Please take a minute and thank God above,
that by his grace you still have your love.
If he should die, you will miss all of these things,
especially the terrible way he sings.
