I did not let you speak,you say?
But LORD, I did take time to pray.
I said my thanks, I shed some tears;
I rid my heart of doubts and fears.

It is easier to talk you see,
Than just to listen patiently.
But oh! the moments I have wasted;
Think of sweetness left untasted.

Communion with the FATHER brings
A melody the heart can sing.
So when you've had your say...don't leave;
For treasures still you can receive.
