Thank You Lord
...for giving me life though at times it's been sad
I'm ever so grateful for the things that I've had
You gave me such courage and filled me with love
and compassion for others, You gave me YOUR love
For giving me comfort when my loved ones passed on
For giving me strength when I couldn't carry on
For teaching forgiveness for those who caused pain
For giving me sunshine in the middle of rain
For a heart to love deeply and a shoulder to cry on
And quiet spirit and a name to rely on
For turning my tears into joy for others
for always protecting my sisters and brothers
For all that I am and continue to be
May I always do what you expect of me
Thank you Lord for this chance to bless
and to share you with others...what happiness
