A Special Dad

As a small child, never knowing the love of a dad
Is an experience I have missed along the way.
They say, you can't miss something you never had
But we all know that is not true.

Having a mom filling in the missing pieces of your life
My loneliness subsided
For God sent me a very special Dad on loan
Now all is forgotten, that was lost
All is forgiven

Just remember to be thankful,
for what God has shared with you
Always remember to thank him
for sending you, that special Dad.
