Some of Them are Angels Too

We call on God to save our nation
We pray like never before
Yet some of us hurt the innocent
We spit on them and swore

Some of them are being killed
because they look the part
and practice their religion
with pain deep in their hearts

Some of them are heroes too
Their families too are broken
America is their homeland too
Their cries yet go unspoken

Why cast we stones upon them
Yet say in God We Trust
For God to send His mercy down
Embrace them too, we must

Muslim-American, Christian or Jew
It really matters not
One Nation Under God
For this cause we have fought

Yes some of them are heroes too
They died along with ours
The anguish fills their broken hearts
...crumbling like the Towers

Forgive us for our ways, dear friends
It must be fear and pain
That causes us to hurt you so
like cruel and acid rain

May we extend to you our hands
And pray He calms your fears
And sends to you His comfort
And dries your million tears.

God Bless the families of these heroes too
