I want to be a prism, Lord
Bars of gilded light
Glistening with Your glory
Through the darkest night

I want to be a looking glass
You may peer into
To see Your perfect image there
Shining back at You

I want to be a candlestick
By Your Spirit lit
So others find their way to You
From the glow of it

I pray to be all three, dear Lord
Reflections clear to view
But make it so when others look
They won't see me, but You
