A Ray of Hope

You are not forgotten.
Nor should you ever feel alone.
We can't be with you there,
but you are here with us at home.
Through all your years of torture
and all your years of pain.
Our thoughts and prayers go to you
Like falling drops of rain.
We love you, lost and wounded soldier,
we love you everyone.

If time could somehow be erased,
you can bet it would be done.
When we finally do find you,
and I know we will.
There won't be any doubt to you,
exactly how we feel.

Don't forget to say your prayers.
That will be your guiding light.
We miss you each and everyone.
We want you back in sight.
Remember always,
that we love you still today.
You must come home,
back here, with us.
