The Lord sent us a shepherd
To guide us on our way,
To live our lives for Jesus
In each and everyday.

No matter what the problem,
He has a listening ear.
And if we're sick and lonely,
He's there and always near.

To us, he is so special.
No words could ever say
How much he's loved and thought of.
He's family, in every way.

But if you have to wonder
At who this man could be,
He's our pastor, friend, and leader
From now 'til eternity .
