Fifty some years have passed away,
And our love has increased, day by day.
I love you now as I loved you then.
I'll love you always and be your friend.

Sometimes I wonder if it was only fate
That brought us together, with a love so great.
Times have been bad, but more have been good.
God, in His wisdom, made it that way...so we understood.

It was up to us to make it the best.
We did what we could and God took care of the rest.
We are now in the fall of this wonderful life
That we made for ourselves, though struggle and strife.

The years that are left
For us to share,
We'll make them the best,
To show each other how much we care.

I love you so much,
As I have through these years.
You are a light in my life
And a comfort to my fears.

God brought us together.
And through the years that have passed,
He taught us to love
The things that would last.

Now, my love, I love you more ...
More, than all these words can say.
And I'll love you the rest of our lives,
In an even more loving and caring way.
