I'm not going to give up,
I have a race to run...
Even when times are tough
I'm focused on the Son.

Life has dealt it's disappointments
Given chance to shed some tears,
But through all the ups and downs
Jesus has held me through my fears.

At times I felt too weak
Didn't think I could go on
The day seemed to go forever
And my heart would loose it's song.

But Jesus stays so faithful
Through everything that I live and see
He holds me as His child
And sings a song of peace.

So never, NEVER do I give up
I keep running just as hard
For in those times I take a fall,
Jesus focuses me on it all...

I'm not going to give up,
I have a race to run...

I'm focused on the Son.
