My Email Friend
My Dearest Email Friend,
God truly works in mysterious ways and
sends us blessings we least expect.
While sitting at my computer
feeling lonely and depressed,
Wondering if God forgot me,
I came across your prayer request.
I felt a tugging at my heart,
one I could not explain, but I knew this was
important and God was urging me to pray.
So I answered your request and as I prayed
for you, I knew God was still with me and
He had a plan for me and you.
So I wrote you a letter and much to my surprise,
you answered it right back and
I felt I'd known you all my life.
We didn't feel at all like strangers,
even though we'd never met and many miles
seperate us, I knew I'd found a lifetime friend.
I can tell you all my troubles and
you can tell me all of yours.
We always pray for each other and
somehow we get through.
I can't begin to tell you what your friendship
means to me. It's people like you
that makes this world a better place.
Your letters bring me comfort,
You've brought joy into my life.
and someday the miles won't matter
because I'll meet you face to face.
Until then I hope you know
there's someone here who cares for you
and when you're lonely, remember,
I love you my friend.
