I would like to say I love you
In a way that's never been told
But just how would you do that
And not be so bold

You always hear "I love you"
And cards are used all the time
A hug would do or a kiss or two
And that would be just fine

But I want something different
Something with a spark!
Something that would make you smile
And also touch your heart

Something to make you feel warm inside
Knowing you are loved
And something that will bless you
From heaven up above

Something from a daughter
To her father on this special day
To let him know how much she cares
That he's her father in every special way

Dad if I could give you
Such a gift to make you feel this way
I would have to say it would be
All my love wrapped up for you
On this special day

You can't put love in a box
Cards and kisses fade away
But in your heart I give all
My love sealed away today
