The Master Gardener's Fair

Our children are like little flowers
Needing protection from life's storms
They need lots of tender loving care
From the first day on which they're born.

This worlds an awful evil place
And would certainly do them in
If not for the care and guidance
Of Godly parents to shelter them.

Yes, they must learn to stand on their own
And be strong when they grow up
But let's not turn them out too soon
And expose them to what's corrupt.

These children need our guidance
In order to form Spirits which can discern
We need to filter what they see and read
And have an input on what they learn.

Let their roots grow deep and stalk grow firm
In the greenhouse of your care
Then when they're turned out into the world
They won't get caught up in a snare.

They may bend, but they won't break
If the winds should blow a gale
They will stand firm for what's right
And through the stormy waters sail.

So protect your little flowers
Fertilize them and tend them with care
They'll grow up and be beautiful
Fit for the Master Gardener's Fair.
