Let Go And Let God

I've heard this saying all my life
Let go and let God
I think it sounds so awesome
And I do believe it's true
That God can fix anything
If we'll just trust Him too.

I tell Him all my troubles
And lay them at His feet.
I know He picks them up and
would have fixed them long ago,
If I hadn't took them back
and tried to do it on my own.

I tend to get impatient
and think maybe God forgot.
I try to fix it by myself,
and I always mess up.

I'm trying harder now
to be patient and wait
I know if I'll just trust him
he'll fix everything.
