I Saw His Hands
Ive seen many wondrous things
It's true, I've seen many horrors too
But the most wondrous and beautiful
Of all sights to see
Are His hands.
Those gentle, kind, and caring hands
That worked so long and hard
Toiling in this world of misery
For you and me
His hands.
For, you see, He didnt have to suffer
He didnt have to toil
He didnt have to bleed and die
But for love He did
Reaching out with His hands
Those precious, nail-scarred hands
That reach out for you and me
Reach out and down today
To lift us to eternity
His hands.
Forever, thank you and
we love you, Lord Jesus
