Whenever I look in the mirror
I can see the dread and the fear.
A fear that only I can see.
The fear that He could not ever forgive me!
It's because of the things I've done.
Why would anyone love me? Especially Gods son!

I lied, I cheated, and I stole.
Why would He embrace me and make me whole?
How could He forgive me!
I'm a terrible person, can't He see?
He would be better off without my kind!
Surely better people He could find!

That's when I say, "Stop right there!"
"And have a seat in that chair!"
Let me tell you a story about the Lamb named Jesus.
Who, no matter how hard we try, always sees us!
His love is never ending! It doesn't waiver one little bit!
And He has the scars on his wrists to prove it!

He suffered and died on the cross for you!
Just embrace Him and love Him back is all we have to do!
He will pour Himself into your soul.
Into that place where Satan once had control!
Then you will see how He can forgive you.
Just ask for it is all you have to do!

It's a simple thing, but still we wait.
And we all look back and wonder why we hesitate!
So no matter what you've done,
or in the future you may do.
Always remember our Father's Son,
and the forgiveness He has for you!

Just pray: "Thank you Jesus, because you free us,
from the bondage of our sin! I give my life unto you,
and I pray I can show a few,
that only through Christ can we win!"

THIS IS HOW HE CAN!
