At Home

When I leave this world
I want you all to know

That I'll be at home with God.
for he has told me so.
Jesus will hold my hand
and I won't be afraid.
The journey will be a pleasant one,
for he'll be with me all the way.
Don't ever have regrets
for things that are past,
for when you know you're loved
heartaches never last.

God didn't promise us perfection
It wasn't meant to be.

Just knowing that you loved me
is all I'll ever need.
I know that you will miss me,
but don't be sad for long.
