Have I Done My Best?

LORD let me know what I should do
before my life on earth is through.
In my dealings with my fellowman
have I done all that I can?
Have I sown love instead of hate?
Have I changed someone's fate?
Can I look back and say
I have helped someone have a good day?
Have I helped someone in need?
Did I listen with my heart
to their every plea?
Did I smile a warm greeting to everyone
I passed, or was my mind on my own
needs and by them I walked fast?
Have I thanked you GOD for the many
blessings you have given to me,
as I witnessed about you for all to see?
Tell me GOD,
for you have done so much for me,
Has my life been what you wanted it to be?
