To travel back through time has long been a dream of mine, to a day with no time clocks, and no faces in disguise. "Don't worry about other people so much", they all say to me, so selfish and vain this world seems to be.

I refuse to be wound up in this obsessive hold, where people have no feelings, and their hearts are waxed cold. This world is like a freeway with traffic zooming by, a depressing, twisted turmoil of hatred and lies.

"Through sickness and in health", "for better or for worse", honest feelings in the past, but today they are only 'words'. In the past, hearts truly broke, now they only bend, but a brick wall is approaching fast, and soon it will all end.

For fortune and fame do people strive, for money and power they surrender their lives. And the people who gave you birth, how much money would you think they're worth? About 2 grand a month to be tied in a chair? but of course you must work, you can't possibly be there... but they were always there for you in the past, next time you 'pop' in the nursing home, think about that.

One more subject I have to bring up before I end this rhyme, a 'hot issue' they call it in the "Times", Do you, (a mere human) really have the choice, to end a life given by God as a gift in which to rejoice?

I wish I could turn back the clock to a simpler way of life, but that 'clock' is atop a ladder that man cannot climb, but I beseech you people to open your eyes, for this modern-day 'progress' is simply another devil's disguise. The Bible is fulfilling itself in each and every way, and very soon we will ALL face the Throne of God on Judgement Day.
