Here I am again Lord
Just can't seem to stay away
I want to say goodnight
And tell you about my day

My grandson made us proud
As he slid into third base
He had the sweetest smile
That lit up his little face

Baked a cake for the bake sale
And FOR ONCE it didn't fall
I hope it will be large enough
It seemed a little small

I made a BIG mistake today
I stepped onto the scale
I've gained 3 pounds again
My diets always fail!

Just wanted to say goodnight
