Pete was not a Christian.
He was on his way to Hell.
Had anyone told him about Jesus?
There was just no way to tell.

Someone needed to show Pete
God's eternal salvation plan.
Please do it, for Pete's sake,
So Pete can be born again.

Tell him the road to Heaven
Is not paved with good intentions.
For Pete's sake, let's tell him
Of treasures too abundant to mention.

Tell him of the streets of gold
And the river of life that flows.
Tell him so we can be certain,
For Pete's sake, that's where he goes.
