I came to a fork in the road
And I didn't know which way to go.
Both roads were beckoning to me
with a promise of things to see.
Both roads offered me a guide
to walk with me side by side.

JESUS' road was narrow,
and the devil's road was wide.
JESUS said "My child you must decide"
The devil tried to lure me to go his way,
showing me the pleasures of this earth
While he had his say.

Then JESUS opened his hands for me to see.
I saw the nail scars and I began to cry, for
that is when I remembered JESUS died for me.
I knelt down to JESUS with a sinner's prayer
and JESUS saved me and let me know he cared.
And as long as I walk on this narrow road
JESUS will be there to, guiding me
and showing me everything I need to do.
