Daddy's Sweetheart

I loved my daddy with all my heart
I was his favorite, right from the start
My sister and brother, were older you see
They had each other, and ignored little me

My daddy would hold me, dry my tears
And sooth away my deepest fears
He'd tell me stories of days gone by
As we lay in the hammock watching the sky

He taught me, oh,so many things
Like riding a bike and swinging on swings
When I was older, he taught me to drive
Told me about life and how to survive

But the gift he gave me, I'm proudest of
Was the best of all, the Gift Of Love
