Before I go
I want you to know
My life has been blessed
With all my family and friends

I will try to take with me
only loving memories

There have been hard times
As well as good

But I had all of you to love me
To see me through

Don't cry and be lonely
Sad or blue

Just remember the years
we have enjoyed together

Go on without me
And live life anew

Look up to heaven
Where I hope to be
Remember what I've taught you
To help lead you through
