Tossed and driven on the sea of life?
Can't find your way as the storms arise?
No anchor to hold you, to save you from loss
While the ship of your life starts to violently toss?

Dark clouds have cast great shadows of doubt
Can't find the Lighthouse to see your way out?
Searching for the Lifeline but can find none?
Winds howling at you, "All hope is gone!"

Just at that point of great desparity
Remember His promise, "I'll never leave thee"
Let hope arise, no cause for alarm
Know you're sheltered and safe in His arm

In moments of discomfort, trial and pain
Before you choose to murmur or to complain
These things will befall you as you've already been told
Know, "Faith is the victory that overcomes the world"

The days will get darker, men's hearts will wax cold
Don't you lose courage, be strong and be bold!
You are an overcomer, that's "thus saith the Lord"
Don't get complacent, be certain of God.
