Because of JESUS I now can say
My mistakes were made because I did not pray
I was walking on the road of sin and despair
Until JESUS heard my sinner's prayer

Because of JESUS I have changed from my sinful ways
I now feel JESUS' Love growing inside of me everyday
Now I don't worry about the things of this earth
Or about what the possessions of this life are worth
Because of JESUS my only concern is to be in His Plan
As I hold onto His unchanging hands

I now trust JESUS in every way
He knows what is best for me as I face each new day
Because of JESUS, the devil has lost his hold on me
Only JESUS could set me free
He saved my soul from eternal loss
Because JESUS bought my soul on Calvary's cross
