It is not in a contract or a bill that you must pay,
There is no making of payments,
It won't be taken away.

It is not about relatives or the strings that you pull,
It's not about your strengths or in fighting a duel.
It's not in your ability or in the courses that you take,
It's not in your emotions or in the feelings you fake.
It is not in a barter or in let's make a deal,
It is not a part of your imagination,
His provision is real.

The Bible says that His Grace is sufficient,
We need to leave it alone,
So the next time you feel unworthy,
You need to go to His Throne.

Rest on His promises and your turmoil will cease,
Understanding His Grace,
Will cause your faith to increase.
You don't have to borrow or beg or even say please,
Grace is not a trick, it is not a joke or a tease.

His covering is protection
While you are awake and while you sleep,
It is not a determining fact,
By the promises that we keep.

The moment that you accept the Saviour
Is the day that you receive,
The only other thing you must do, is totally believe.

It has nothing to do with your strengths
And nothing to do with your skill,
But it has all to do with the steps of Jesus,
Up Calvary's lonely hill.

So the next time you are weary, call upon the Son
And look upon His face, this is what is truly called,
Awakening to Grace.
