Anniversary
Today's our anniversary
and I feel so alone.
You're celebrating in Heaven,
Jesus called you home.
I know he's with me too and
you live in my heart,
but you can't hold me close
and wipe away my tears.
Now that you're gone
I don't know how to live.
I dreamed of you last night.
Was it really just a dream?
It felt so very real,
like you were here for me.
I'd been running in circles and
couldn't find you any where.
I didn't know which way to turn
and my heart was filled with fear.
Just when I was giving up,
you suddenly appeared.
You held me in your arms
and you helped me understand
every thing will be okay and
I don't need to be afraid.
God just called you first and
some day he'll call me.
We can be together then
through out eternity.
