Always Protected
Mother, you were always there to shield
and protect me, to love and guide me,
To show me the right path to follow.
Where you left off,
Bobby was there to take your place,
to shield and protect me.
I'm on my own now,
no one here to guide or protect me.
I've learned the right path to follow,
sometimes the hard way.
But I've made it,
All the way!
Now I have God to love and protect me,
to guide my way.
All I need is to ask him, if I start to stray.
When I'm lost and alone
all I have to do is call Him,
to help love and guide me and
show me the way. He is here to protect me,
as you have always done.
